Charles Ward has had over 20 years experience as an educational psychologist working in mainstream schools, special schools, colleges, nurseries and other early years settings.

Charles Ward works with schools, colleges and early years settings to help them support children and young people who may have:
  • learning difficulties
  • behavioural difficulties.
  • social and emotional difficulties.
  • developmental difficulties
Services Offered

Ward Psychology provides a full educational psychology service to schools and Early Years Settings.  These include:
  • Consulting the schools and colleges on the full range of concerns about their students and identifying approaches resources to help their children and young people make progress
  • Carrying out a range of psychological assessment, including specialist assessments
  • Joint planning with teachers of specific programmes and interventions for groups of children and for individuals
  • Working with children’s families
  • Counseling and therapy for children and young people
  • Staff training
  • Consultation with other professionals
  • Assessments and reports for young people wishing to be considered for Disabled Student Allowance at university
Ward Psychology provides services to schools, colleges and early years settings either for individual pieces of work, or through a Service Level Agreement. 

In addition to requesting one-off pieces of work, Schools, Colleges and Early Years settings can
choose one of three Service Levels of agreement.
 
Gold       (up to 6 sessions per term and the opportunity to buy more time at pro rata rates)
Silver     (up to 4 sessions a term)
Bronze   (up to 2 sessions per term)
